Deka Technology has achieved TS ISO/IEC 33061 (SPICE) Organizational Maturity Certification at Staged Level 2, Type A, Class 1. The certification was issued on September 14, 2026 by ICT Certify under TÜRKAK accreditation (AB-0126-U) and is valid until September 13, 2029.
What Is SPICE ISO/IEC 33061?
ISO/IEC 33061 is an internationally recognized standard for assessing organizational maturity in software processes. The standard evaluates how systematically and effectively an organization performs its software engineering and management processes.
Certification at Staged Level 2 (Managed) confirms that Deka Technology's software processes are not only performed but also planned, monitored, and controlled — with defined work products and clear responsibilities.
Certification Scope
The assessment covers extensive technical and management processes:
- Technical Processes (TEC): TEC.2, TEC.3, TEC.4, TEC.5, TEC.7, TEC.8, TEC.9, TEC.10, TEC.11, TEC.13 — from requirements analysis through software design and implementation to testing and integration
- Management Processes (MAN): MAN.1, MAN.2, MAN.4, MAN.5, MAN.6, MAN.8 — project management, quality management, risk management, and configuration management
What This Means for Our Clients
The SPICE certification complements our existing ISO certifications (ISO/IEC 27001:2022, ISO 22301:2019, ISO 20000-1:2018) and confirms that our software development processes meet international quality standards. For our clients, this means:
- Demonstrable process quality in software development
- Structured and repeatable engineering practices
- Risk reduction through defined management processes
- International comparability and compliance evidence
With this fourth certification, Deka Technology reinforces its commitment to engineering excellence and continuous improvement — spanning information security, business continuity, IT service management, and software process maturity.
