Cookie Policy.
This Cookie Policy explains how Deka Technology uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, in compliance with TTDSG, GDPR, and KVKK.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website. They serve various purposes, from enabling basic website functions to understanding how visitors use the site. Cookies may be set by the website you are visiting ("first-party cookies") or by third-party services embedded on the site ("third-party cookies").
2. Legal basis
Essential cookies are stored based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing a functional website) and do not require consent under TTDSG § 25(2).
Non-essential cookies (analytics, marketing) require your prior consent under TTDSG § 25(1) and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. We will only set these cookies after you have given your consent via our cookie banner.
3. Cookie categories
We categorise cookies into the following types:
Essential / Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the basic operation of the website, such as security, network management, and accessibility. The website cannot function properly without them. They do not require your consent.

- Google Tag Manager (GTM) — tag management for loading analytics and marketing scripts (planned)

5. Consent mechanism
When you first visit our website, a cookie consent banner offers you three choices:
- Reject All — only essential cookies are used
- Customize — opens a preferences panel where you can enable or disable each cookie category individually
- Accept All — all cookie categories are enabled
Non-essential cookies (analytics, marketing) are never loaded before you give consent. We use Google Consent Mode v2 to ensure all Google services respect your preferences by default.
Your consent preferences are stored locally on your device (in browser localStorage) for 12 months. After this period, you will be asked again.
6. Withdrawal of consent
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time by:
- Clicking "Cookie Settings" in the footer of our website — this reopens the preferences panel where you can adjust your choices
- Deleting cookies and site data in your browser settings
- Contacting us at [email protected]
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. However, scripts for rejected categories will stop loading on subsequent page visits.
7. Third-party data transfers
Some of the services listed above (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Microsoft Clarity, LinkedIn) are operated by companies based in the United States. When you consent to analytics or marketing cookies, data may be transferred to servers in the USA.
These transfers are carried out on the basis of the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (where applicable) or Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR. You can find more information in our Privacy Policy.
8. Browser settings
You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings. The following links explain how to do this in common browsers:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Please note that blocking essential cookies may impair website functionality.
9. Further information
For detailed information on how we handle your personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
